At SSNAP, we’re committed to supporting all neonatal staff through training, development, and meaningful appreciation.

Professional Development

We help staff grow their expertise through external training opportunities:

  • Significant funding available towards specialist course fees
  • Open to all neonatal staff looking to develop their skills

Recent training supported includes:

  • FINE (Family and Infant Neurodevelopmental Education)
  • UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative
  • REASON Conference (Research and Education Awareness of Sick Neonates)

By supporting ongoing learning, we’re helping to ensure the highest standard of care for babies and families, today and into the future.

Staff Wellbeing & Recognition

We also know how important it is for staff to feel valued. That’s why we give back through:

  • Thoughtful gifts and snacks during Easter, Eid, and Christmas
  • Small gestures to show our appreciation year-round

By supporting the team behind the care, we help create a positive, compassionate environment for both staff and families on the unit.

"Thank you SSNAP for enabling so many of us to go to REASON this year. The learning opportunities and subsequent improvements we can bring in to practice that has come from just 2 days is incredible"
