Here at SSNAP we are very proud to announce a transformative collaboration with the Freemasons of Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Whilst we have been exceptionally lucky to receive several financial gifts from the Lodges over the last decade, this partnership marks a significant milestone in the efforts to enhance support for our Little Ssnaplings groups.  Providing care and support in the community since June last year, we have been providing activities for baby and toddler groups to enable like minded parents to meet, share their stories, and receive peer support and professional guidance where needed.

The collaboration between SSNAP and the Freemasons underscores a shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable babies and their parents, post discharge from specialist care.  Freemasons, known for their philanthropic endeavours and dedication to community service, bring a wealth of resources and a spirit of compassion to this partnership.  Whilst this is a significant gift, it is accompanied by the opportunity to work with professionals willing to dedicate their time and experience to our cause.

Until now, Little Ssnaplings have been offering 4 monthly free attendance groups across Oxfordshire.  This collaboration will enable us to expand our reach, enhance our services, and ensure that families facing challenging circumstances receive the assistance and care they deserve.  The additional money gifted, and expertise, will enable us to double our service.  Offering both baby and toddler groups at 4 sites, 8 times a month.  Additionally, we will experiment with pop up play groups across Oxfordshire and Berkshire, to test the need in different areas, maintaining a flexible service to support as many parents as possible.

The collaboration between SSNAP and the Freemasons exemplifies the power of partnership in effecting positive change and underscores the importance of collective action in addressing societal challenges. Through this collaboration, both organisations reaffirm their commitment to serving the needs of vulnerable members of society and creating a brighter future for parents that until now have been struggling.
