Coventry Building Society has chosen SSNAP as their branch community partner for the third year in a row
Lynne Sapey is the Community Champion for the Oxford branch of the Coventry Building Society.
Lynne says, "We wanted a charity local to the area and one that would touch the hearts of our customers. It's amazing when you are having a fundraising event in branch, how many customers tell stories from years gone by when they have had babies or known someone who has had a baby in Special Care.
So far we have raised just over £2100 and we have just started our 3rd year of fundraising for SSNAP. In the past staff members have completed a sky dive and we also have in branch raffles, with Easter, Summer and Christmas themes. We will be kicking off this year with a raffle to win a chocolate hamper around Easter Time. In branch, we also sell SSNAP merchandise, the cute little teddy bears have been very popular in previous years and this year we have also started to sell the eco coffee cups and water bottles.
SSNAP is such a fantastic charity, it is amazing the care they provide to everyone involved. The staff at the Oxford branch of the Coventry Building Society are proud to support SSNAP."
