"We lived circa 40 miles from the hospital, with the support of SSNAP, we were able to stay local to the John Radcliffe hospital and hold Lilah’s hand through various surgeries and procedures day and night. With our home being so far from the hospital it was hard to juggle everyday life as our now 6 year old was 2.5 at the time and there were occasions where both Lilah and Seely needed us and we couldn’t be in more than one place at a time. This was extremely hard emotionally.
We have raised a total of £6,546 for SSNAP to date, this was made up of generous, kind donations to SSNAP when our daughter passed away and by a book club that I attended setting ourselves a 25 mile bike challenge, we hope to raise more in the future."
