SSNAP were there for us right from the start....
"I’m very happy to be running the Oxford Half for my beloved SSNAP again this year. It’s my fourth year of fundraising for them but my first time doing it since experiencing first hand the incredible work that they do.
When Rex arrived earlier in the year we spent a month with him in the NICU at the John Radcliffe. As you’d imagine it was an incredibly frightening and difficult time, but SSNAP were there for us right from the start. They gave us advice, cuddles, meals, coffee and answered any questions we had. They even gave me a hoodie when I was cold, because it was February and all I packed was a load of Beastie Boys t shirts.
They’ve been doing this for over 40 years, for countless families and staff at our wonderful JR".
