After several years in development, Nell & the Neonatal Unit is officially launching! This new app has been lovingly created to support brothers and sisters of babies who spend time in neonatal care - helping them better understand what’s happening and feel more included during what can be a challenging time for families.
With the kind support of SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents) , we’re hosting a Family Launch Event this Saturday at Ronald McDonald House, and we would love for you to join us.
This will be a relaxed, welcoming and family-friendly event where children can:
✨ Explore the app
✨ Ask questions about neonatal care
✨ Learn about some of the equipment used on the unit
✨ Take part in fun activities
There’ll be refreshments available, and plenty of opportunity to connect with other families - both past and present - in a warm and informal setting.
