The Paediatric Neuroimaging Research Group at the University of Oxford has translated its popular My Baby’s Brain animation series into five new languages; Chinese, Dutch, Polish, Spanish, and Urdu.

Created in collaboration with SSNAP, the 10-part series uses simple language and engaging visuals to explain complex medical concepts: from how a baby’s brain develops to why apnoea occurs and what treatments support recovery.

Most of the translations were carried out by researchers affiliated with the group — a reflection of the diverse and multicultural nature of our team.
