Abingdon Accountants, UHY Ross Brooke, making Christmas Better!

UHY Ross Brooke Abingdon office have just made Christmas a little better for the parents and siblings of the babies in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at John Radcliffe hospital. SSNAP were delighted to collect a large parcel of amazing Christmas Hampers and Goodies from the staff, who have kindly donated a host of wonderful gifts, including; toiletries, chocolates and treats for our parents, presents for their babies like muslins and soft toys, and books and colouring sets for their siblings. Plus a £100 donation too!

Jo Goulding of UHY Ross Brooke said,

"Our Abingdon office were looking for a charity to support, and because several of our colleagues had had first-hand experience of the SCBU and the positive impact it had on their own lives, they chose to donate to them through SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn and their Parents.

We are delighted that our hampers will be shared out and given to the parents on Christmas day – just something small to make it a little less tough on Christmas Day when the family can’t all be together.

Thanks to our colleague Jenna who organized the collection and donation of the gifts."

The unit is currently at full capacity and because of Covid, only parents are allowed to visit – a tough call at the best of times, but especially hard on the siblings and grandparents at Christmas.

This really will make Christmas so much better for our parents and their families, a huge heartfelt thanks for your wonderful support UHY Ross Brooke Accountants, Abingdon. xxx
