Today we had the absolute joy of welcoming Marisol and her parents back to SSNAP and the Neonatal Unit to celebrate her 1st birthday!

Marisol was born at just 23+5 weeks’ gestation, weighing 580g and spent over 4 months on the unit.

To see her today happy, healthy, and full of joy is truly wonderful.

Her family visited with beautiful gifts for the babies currently in our care, as well as treats for staff, in recognition of the care they received during those early, uncertain days.

Moments like this mean so much to us all.
