Our Little SSNAPling classes have started again this January.
These community-based classes are specially designed for families who have experienced a neonatal start with their baby or babies. They offer a gentle, supportive space for families after leaving hospital and settling in at home.
Each session is carefully adapted to suit the developmental stage of the babies attending, ensuring activities are appropriate, nurturing, and engaging.
Baby Massage
Our baby massage sessions offer calm, unhurried time to connect with your baby.
Benefits may include:
- Supporting bonding and secure attachment.
- Promoting relaxation and improved sleep.
- Helping with digestion and easing wind or discomfort.
- Supporting sensory awareness.
Parents and carers are guided to follow their baby’s cues, helping build confidence and trust in responding to their baby’s needs.
Baby Yoga
Baby yoga provides gentle movement for parents and play in a relaxed, supportive way for babies.
Benefits may include:
- Supporting physical development, strength, and flexibility.
- Encouraging coordination and body awareness.
- Supporting sensory and neurological development.
- Offering playful interaction that strengthens connection.
All movements are adapted to suit babies’ developmental stages and individual needs.
Because all families attending have shared similar journeys, there is a natural understanding within both the Baby Massage and Baby Yoga session of the emotions, challenges, and experiences that can come with a neonatal start. Our classes provide a place to connect, feel understood, and grow in confidence together.
