A Little Message That Made Our Day
We recently received the sweetest note from one of our young patients who spent more than 100 days with us in hospital over Christmas and New Year.
She told us how she kept her special Santa sack by her side the whole time, and how she still uses it every year as her Christmas stocking Her message ended with a heartfelt “Thank you for looking after me.”
Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
To all the brave children and families we support, you inspire us every single moment.
The sunflower she painted will be used as part of our NCU art initiative to help brighten up the bedrooms and bring a little extra colour and comfort to parents during their stay.
We now have plenty of sunflower art, but we’d love to receive bluebell, lavender and tulip pieces.
