On Sunday, our Family Care Team, in recognition of Father's Day, gave out numerous treats to parents and staff on the NICU!

Parents received some wonderful gifts, including Hand and Footprints of their baby, a photo frame, wonderfully knitted hearts and keepsakes from all of our incredible supporters across the county and beyond, who have spent hours knitting to support the unit, along with some chocolate treats. A huge thank you also goes to 'Blewbury Craft Club' who knitted the most wonderful teddies for the event and 'Harry's Razors' who kindly donated a razor each for all of the dads on the unit.

Our trolley of treats that the SSNAP family care support team go round with daily on the unit, was filled with 2 amazing handmade cakes (Victoria & Strawberry Cake & Chocolate Surprise Cake), lovingly hand-baked by Jane Reed, a friend of SSNAP. Parents and staff had strawberries and cream, Eton Mess and not to forget breakfast crumpets and bagels with a variety of toppings!

The feedback from parents and staff so appreciative of the support from SSNAP has been wonderful, and is of course all thanks to the amazing fundraisers and donors that support us with our work in providing emotional and practical support to families on a daily basis, which is bespoke to their individual needs.

Happy Father's Day to all, and a huge thank you to all of our SSNAP supporters for enabling this event to happen xx
